Personal projects
I’m entrepreneurial and have always had a passion for side projects. I’ve run live music nights, directed a music and street food festival, put on French learning evenings, an online adventure sport aggregator and more. My current project is a bike hire business in my home town on the east coast of England. Here is some more information on a few of them:
Southwold Cycle Hire
Founded a cycle hire company in my hometown of Southwold with my best friend. He runs it day-to-day. I built the site and booking system and run all things brand and digital.
WB Magazine
I founded and designed a hyperlocal magazine for Hackney, covering local businesses and start-ups, architecture, design, food and drink and other subjects. We had writers from The Guardian, Crack Magazine, Courier and Dazed.
Clapton Festival
I directed and organised a community summer festival featuring live music, DJs, live art, street food, craft beer and children’s activities in the grounds of St John at Hackney, London. In addition, local venues, pubs, cafes and shops hosted their own events on the day such as DJ lessons, live Portuguese music and pop-up markets.
